Opal Security’s first-party Workday integration empowers customers to use HRIS data such as user attributes to manage workforce identity and access at scale. The integration also enables customers to manage privileged access to entitles such as Workday Security Groups and Workday Organization Roles, ensuring that only authorized personnel (e.g. your HR admin) have access to the necessary people data.
For the HRIS integration, Opal ingests attributes from Workday, including but not limited to:
First name
Last name
Employee ID
Supervisory organization
Business title
Management level
Employee type
Work location
Employee time type
Position title
On leave status
Employee’s manager
Custom attributes
For entitlements management, Opal’s Workday integration enables administrators to view and manage user access to entities such as User Security Groups and Organization Roles, which are typically tied to Domain Security Policies and Role Based Security Groups. As with Opal’s other integrations, core capabilities such as user and group management, end user JIT access, and User Access Reviews will be included for supported Workday entities.
